DESIGN

Robert Biscontini of America’s Cup fame is responsible for the hull, and Lorenzo Argento for the interior and exterior design. She embodies impressive performance rigging with a clean crisp finish. Broad eye capturing decks spaces carried over a minimalist hull and exterior design. The low coachroof and broad open cockpit lend support to the 53’s performance ability.

INTERIOR

The interior presents a contemporary yet timeless design with a full lounge area, teak moldings, and quality finishes. A major innovation in the interior has been separating the lounge-relaxation area, with a sofa and coffee table, and the galley space with a dining table. The result is a bright, well-ventilated interior, which harmonises well with the easy and intuitive companionway leading to the exterior. Available with three double cabins and two heads.

EXTERIOR

The transom, fitted with light weight carbon rigging, seamlessly houses the tender garage. Owners seeking a more thrilling ride have an optional carbon mast with greater sail area upgrades available. She comes with a low cabin top, straight sheer, plum bow, long bow sprit, and a broad and powerful transom.

RENEWED SALOON LAYOUT

After conducting extensive consumer research, Beneteau made the bold move to remodel the saloon to better accommodate life onboard. An oversized dining area and chart table have been replaced with a clever, well-sized, multifunctional coffee table. The small dining table forward of the galley is perfect for two people with a clever extension for four, or alternatively, it can be lowered and fitted with an extra cushion to form a surplus reclining sofa. The benefit of this layout is a larger than normal galley and a more spacious, functional saloon.

YACHTING WORLD REVIEW

"I’d say the First 53 is the most elegant boat Beneteau has ever produced. Sleek, subtle and thoroughly modern in both style and specification, the execution of the detail is impressive." Read more from the Yachting World Magazine Review
