INTERIOR

A real talking point of this new generation is the supreme amount of natural light which floods the interior to create a bright and airy space. The choice is yours as to how you dress this area, with light brushed oak giving a contemporary feel and mahogany trending more towards traditional finishing’s. The interior space for a boat of this size is second-to-none, and this is definitely noticeable in the cabins and master suite which has a shower room and separate head, as well as a 160x205cm island bed. The panoramic windows which wrap around the length of the boat are best enjoyed from this lush owner’s area where you can just lie down and watch your watery world go by.

EXTERIOR

The Oceanis 46.1 has a distinctivly stepped hull and boasts a huge amount of cockpit space in a clever layout. The clean deck plan makes use of the cockpit beam to create a relaxing area which is uncluttered and easy to move around on. All the lines run back to the helm stations which makes manoeuvring simple and short-handed sailing a dream. Loungers either side of the companionway add a distinct feel to the cruising element of the boat, with the German mainsheet system lifting all the sailing action out of the way.

PERFORMANCE FIRST LINE

With a longer mast, by 1 metre, and a sail area increased by 28%, Harken deck fittings and a deep lead-bulb keel to reduce drag, the First Line version of the Oceanis 46.1 is an incredible option for the performance-minded sailor. This, along with a more powerful hull shape, a stepped or full-chined hull, a greater righting moment, and the addition of twin rudders for added control, make her unstoppable underway.

YACHTING WORLD REVIEW

"It’s rare to have the opportunity to sail a new production yacht in a variety of conditions and with different options, and to be able to really push the boat. It is perhaps just as uncommon to see it perform so consistently in all conditions. While its builders will be acutely aware of how important the design, styling, and accommodation space are to maintaining a healthy order book, the designer of the 46.1 clearly knows that the fundamental aspect of success is sound sailing qualities." READ MORE
