Comfortable and quick with sleek rounded hulls, this Prout 45 catamaran is a solid bluewater cruiser capable of single handing across the globe.

This boat is very well set up for shorthanded sailing. All the control lines lead back to the cockpit. The rigging is very well thought out, the mast is placed further back for a larger forward triangle for setting upwind sails and a more manageable mainsail aft. This is an example of a well-balanced sail plan that a lot of the more modern cats are all moving towards (such as the Excess sailing cat). All the halyards come down into the cockpit. This model is rigged with a storm jib, genoa and code 0, all on furlers.

The helm station is on same level as the living area, with awesome protection from the weather under the hard top. There is good visibility to the four corners, while maintaining good communicating distance with the rest of the living spaces.

This owner’s version layout has 3 cabins. There is great bunk space and ample storage with plenty of fridge freezer space. In this model the bunks on the starboard side allow more much more space in the saloon. Lots of hatches allow for great ventilation throughout the boat.

There is a very well set up nav station, with two helm stations that give the ability to steer the boat from inside with the autopilot and throttle control.

Electrically this boat is very modern and has been fully re wired. There is a completely new quattro charging system and Victron energy inverter charger and lithium batteries.
